The Streetlight team is made up of 60+ UF student volunteers that focus on building long-term friendships with chronically ill adolescents from diagnosis to cure or end of life.
Streetlight’s mission is to build meaningful communities and relationships, communities of support, and legacy projects for hospitalized youth. The mission relies on dedicated undergraduate UF volunteers and is supported by the UF Department of Pediatrics and outside donors.
To serve as a Streetlight Volunteer you must be:
- A UF undergraduate that will be a Sophomore or Junior
- Must be able to serve with Streetlight for two years.
Please read this letter from the Program Director if you are interested in serving.
