The Summer Pre-Medical Professions Program (SPMPP) is a strategic initiative by UF College of Medicine to expand its community presence by offering early exposure to medical careers at the high school level in collaboration with UF Health, Alachua County Public Schools, Suwannee River AHEC, and Community Partners. The program aims to cultivate the next generation of capable, well-rounded medical professionals who will not only enhance but also ensure successful health outcomes for the communities they serve and beyond.
The program is open to rising Juniors and Seniors in Alachua and nearby Florida counties, and will provide participants with traditional and hands-on, experiential learning opportunities covering the foundational knowledge required to succeeded in medical and health care fields. Please visit the program website and FAQ pages for more information!
