Brain Matters! Neuroscience and Neurological Disorders
Program Date: Friday, October 13th at the University of Florida
UF Health ASC and CPET, in partnership with the UF Medical Guild are excited to host the Fall Semester Mini Medical School for Teachers! This Fall we will focus on the topic of Neuroscience, with lectures from leading Neuroscientists at UF studying topics including pain perception and cognition and aging, as well as visits to UFs McKnight Brain Institute and hands-on activities to take back to your classrooms. The program is free to attend, and coffee/light breakfast and lunch will be provided! Mini Medical School can be used for up to 8 hours of in-service or PD time! Check with your school districts, we will provide certificates of attendance/completion for all participants.
